About the GTCC

The Ghanaian Touring Car Championship (GTCC) is Ghana’s premier grassroots motorsport league—built by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. Inspired by the golden era of 1990s British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), GTCC brings raw, competitive, wheel-to-wheel racing to West Africa with a focus on 1.8-liter and under-powered machines and a welcoming, accessible format for all drivers.

Founded by a long-time automotive professional and racing purist, GTCC is more than just a racing series—it's a motorsport movement. Our goal is to make circuit racing affordable, thrilling, and community-driven, providing local and international drivers a platform to shine, while igniting automotive culture across Ghana.

From naturally aspirated 90s-era sedans to modern turbocharged screamers, GTCC features a wide variety of vehicle classes to suit every budget and performance level. Whether you're a street car builder, garage warrior, or aspiring racer, GTCC gives you a chance to line up on a real grid with real stakes, real competition, and real rewards.
